Clear Simplex 2
Radiant Wonder has developed an herbal formulato relieve what Chinese Medicine calls toxic damp heat in the lower body. What does this mean? It translates as itching, or burning outbreaks in the gential area. This can mean something as intense as Genital Herpes, or something which is not an STD, like certain types of leukorrhea (vaginal discharge). It is important to see a doctor to make sure you have the right diagnosis. These formulas are designed to address the symptoms.

To relieve the symptoms of Genital Herpes (type 2):

Infection with Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) Type 2 usually results in sores on the buttocks, penis, vagina, or cervix, two to twenty days after contact with an infected person. Sexual intercourse is the most frequent means of getting the infection. Both primary and repeat attacks can cause problems including: a minor rash or itching, painful sores, fever, aching muscles, and a burning sensation with urination. HSV Type 2 may also occur in other locations, but is usually found below the waist.

As with Type 1, sites and frequency of repeated bouts vary. The initial episode can be so mild that a person does not realize that he or she has an infection. Years later, when there is a recurrence of HSV, it may be mistaken for an initial attack, leading to unfair accusations about the source of infection. The virus does not disappear. The goal is to relieve as quickly as possible outbreaks and then to strengthen the immune system so outbreaks are not as often.

It is important to start taking this formula as soon as symptoms appear. If the outbreak is already full blown it may take a week for symptoms to completely disappear.

Clear Simplex 2 contains anti viral and antibiotic herbs for internal toxic heat. The usual recommendation is to take 3 capsules 3 times a day. Stop taking Clear Simplex 2 when symptoms disappear. It may take up to a week for the symptoms to disappear, but intensity of symptoms should start to diminish very quickly.

To relieve the symptoms of vaginal discharge which has color (and sometimes with odor).

This formula is so safe and gentle and so effective that it can also be used by women for vaginal discharges that are not clear, white sometimes like cottage cheese. Instead the discharge has a yellowish color, itching and sometimes odor. For the clear discharge we have the product Candida Relief. For the colored discharge Clear Simplex 2 is the best formula. The yellowish discharge is not as STD it is simply a temporary imbalance, however many of the same herbs. The relief should come very quickly. If the discharge has not been going on for a very long time (a few weeks or less) you can expect the symptoms to drop dramatically and quickly. Any type of vaginal discharge with color should also be treated with Yin Care. This way you are approaching the problem internally and externally at the same time. Please follow the link from the product to the manufacturer's website. There is very good research behind this formula.

The dosage for Clear Simplex 2 is the same for vaginal discharge. The recommendation is to take 3 capsules 3 times a day. Stop taking Clear Simplex 2 when symptoms disappear.Symptoms will disappear more quickly, but it is important to make sure the vaginal ph balance isreestablished. One bottle of Clear Simplex 2 should be enought internally, but you might need more than one cycle ofYin Care for complete relief. If the relief iscomplete these symptoms will not return easily.

Ingredients:   Gentiana, Scutellaria root, Gardenia fruit, Coix seed, Plantago, Phellodendron bark, Rhubarb root, Rehmannia, raw root

Ingredients in Detail:

Gentiana: Gentiana is a perennial herb that is native to Mongolia and northeastern China. It contains alkaloids such as gentianine and gentianindine, and bitter principles. It is one of the 252 herbs listed in the Divine Husbandman’s Classic, a Chinese book on herbal wisdom written in the 1st Century A.D. It helps stimulate the digestion and cool the body in general. It is generally used to help support the function of the liver and digestive system. Since it has anti-inflammatory and mildly sedative properties, Gentiana is also used as a treatment for various rheumatic and arthritic conditions. Research studies have shown Gentiana to have both antibiotic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Scutellaria root: In 1973, 92 wooden tablets were discovered in a 2nd-century AD tomb in northwestern China. Among the herbs listed in prescriptions for various ailments for Scutellaria root. The herb has had a central place in Chinese Herbal Medicine since at least 2,000 years and is one of the main herbs for "hot and damp" conditions, such as dysentery and diarrhea. About 12% of Scutellaria are the flavinoids baicalin and wogoniside. It also contains sterols and benzoic acid. The key actions for "Scut" make it a very useful herb in formulas that produce sedative, antiallergenic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory effects. Extensive scientific research has shown that Scutellaria produces a clearly marked anti-inflammatory and antiallergenic action. This is due largely to the flavinoids. It also is used to help with venous problems and fragile capillaries. Clinical trails suggest that the use of Scutellaria for high fevers and infections is justified. The herb may also be useful for problems arising from diabetes, including cataracts.

Gardenia fruit: This evergreen shrub plays a significant role in Chinese herbalism. The fruit contains volatile oils, gardenin crocin and geniposide. The oil it also used in perfumes and flavoring for teas. It has been used in Oriental Medicine for at least 2,000years. In the Chinese herbal tradition it is a bitter and cold herb used mostly to relieve symptoms associated with heat. These include fever, irritability, restlessness, insomnia, painful urination, and jaundice – all symptoms of an overheated liver.

Coix seed: Coix seed, also known as Job's Tears, in a general health tonic, primarily benefiting the skin, lungs, and spleen. It improves the flow of water throughout the body, which assists in eliminating water stagnancy, abdominal bloating and excessive water weight. Coix seed is also used in the Orient for arthritis and rheumatism, since these health conditions are associated with excess body moisture. Coix is also considered to be very nourishing to the skin and is said to make the skin soft and smooth. It is also believed that Coix helps in reducing moles and to eliminate warts and blemishes. Scientific research has also shown that Coix contains an anti-tumor agent that may be helpful in the treatment of cancer, and in particular skin cancer. It has also been shown to have anti-viral activity.

Plantago: Plantago, also known as Plantain, grows in temperate climates and is normally picked wild. It contains iridoids (such as aucubin) flavinoids (including apigenin, tannins, plant acids, and mucilage. It increases uric acid excretion by the kidneys and is anti-inflammatory. Plantago quickly staunches blood flow and encourages the repair of damaged tissue. Taken internally, Plantago is diuretic, expectorant, and decongestant. It is commonly used for gastritis, peptic ulcers, diarrhea, dysentery, irritable bowel syndrome, respiratory congestion, loss of voice and urinary tract bleeding.

Phellodendron bark: Phellodendron cools heat from the lower part of the body, especially the kidneys. Some of the constituents of Phellodendron are isoquinoline alkaloids, sesquiterpene lactones and plant sterols. Due to its alkaloid content, Phellodendron is antimicrobial and antibiotic. Phellodrendron should not be used during pregnancy.

Rhubarb root: Rhubarb is considered a purgative, cathartic and laxative herb. All herbs that induce evacuation of the bowels fall into this category. However, Rhubarb is unique. It is a mild herb that has an affinity for the large intestine. It has three basic effects: it facilitates bowel movements in order to eliminate stagnant food; it clear heats from the system; and, it expels excess liquids. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine when the digestive system becomes sluggish (maybe from eating too fast all the time, or eating foods which are difficult to digest, or because of too much emotional stress), it creates a condition in the intestines called “damp heat,” causing constipation and/or hemorrhoids. Rhubarb drains damp heat, and it also both invigorates blood and dispels blood stagnation. This is critical for good intestinal health, because proper blood circulation allows for both better moisture in the intestines and for better nutrient assimilation. Traditionally, Rhubarb is combined with other blood building and moistening herbs to build a formula which is safe and gentle to help rebuild the health of the digestive system for chronic constipation. Check out the following description of Rhubarb….. For centuries the rhizome(root) of the rhubarb was highly regarded by the Chinese for its medicinal properties. Modern research has justified its reputation. It contains anthraquinones, which have a purgative effect, and tannins and bitters which have the opposite effect. If taken in small quantities the tonic, aperient effect predominates and it is therefore useful in cases of appetite loss and acute diarrhea. Used to treat constipation, dysentery, hemorrhoids, portal congestion, pin/thread worms, skin eruptions from faulty elimination, blood in the stool and duodenal ulcers. It has a truly cleansing action upon the gut, removing debris, and then astringing with antiseptic properties as well. It is used externally to promote healing, counteract blood clots and promote menstruation. Stronger doses are laxative after 8-10 hours and are used to treat chronic constipation. Rhubarb is included in some proprietary preparations and is also a component of herbal tea mixtures and digestive powders. In 1987 a research team investigated extracts of 178 Chinese herbs for antibacterial activity against one of the major microorganisms in human intestinal flora. Only Rhubarb was found to have significant activity. The herb can be applied to burns, boils, and carbuncles. It is a useful mouthwash for canker sores.

Rehmannia, raw root: Raw Rehmannia is Rehmannia prepared without any special treatment (as in prepared Rehmannia).  Raw Rehmannia is used, as prepared Rehmania is for rebuilding Jing, or the bodies' energy reserves. While rebuilding jing is the primary function of prepared Rehmania. Raw Rehmannia’s nourishes Jing and also cools the blood.  Raw Rehmania cools and nourishes. So if the need is to not only build back our deep energy reserves, but also to eliminate symptoms of heat  In Chinese Herbalism heat translates not only into a feeling of warmth, but also subtle hyperactivity  that can show up as insomnia, feeling a little too warm, or even emotional heat such as irritability, despression or anxiety.  Raw Rehmannia has also demonstrated antifungal and antibacterial properties (bacteria likes to grow in heat), and has shown actions of normalizing blood sugar levels for the treatment of diabetes. This research validates the traditional use of formulas which contain Rehmannia (both raw and prepared) for diabetes. In addition, as a Jing tonic, Rehmannia is commonly used to stimulate the new growth of flesh, muscle and bones for the healing of injuries and fractures.
